I visited Blackpool for one night on a hen party, it was a group booking, half the party were staying in one hotel and the remaining were staying at the chelvedon, we were charged £25 a night.
When we arrived at the Chelvedon i was given the keys to our room, i was sharing with three other ladies as arranged. The room had two single bunkbeds. On checking the bedding it was found to have red stains on the sheets and hairs on them. The bedroom floor was extremely dirty and wet. The room itself was so small that we all couldnt stand in there at the same time.The room had a damp smell. It had a set of three bedside draws with a clothes rail placed over the draws.
The tv had a metre and you were required to put money in it in order for it to work.
There was one toilet per floor, there was approx 6 bedrooms per floor so i should imagine the que would have been long at times. There was also one shower per floor which was very small, dirty and i was... more
