The service at Mayfield was second to none, the hoteliers are incredibly friendly and helpful, constantly going the extra mile to help me, even taking me to the train station and giving me a place to stay for the night when I reached my budget!
The room was immaculate, warm and very cozy. I saw other double en suite rooms and all are fully equipped with everything you could want, and more comfortable than a Hilton I stayed in once.
It's a 1/2 minute walk from the beach and promenade, and a 5 minute walk from many shops, bars and pubs. A short 2 minute taxi ride will take you to the Blackpool Tower.
The breakfast was just incredible (no exaggeration), a hell of a lot better than my mother's cooking! And the evening meals were delicious, home from home cooking. Everything about my stay was just perfect, exactly what I wanted from a B&B, a very relaxed, stress-free, friendly atmosphere, it was so much fun IN the hotel I rarely left the building!
