I didn't actually stay at this hotel, but did attend a wedding there, and heard about the rooms from the other guests.. The place is truely awful.. as you enter the hotel you are knocked back by the smell of stale beer, old peoples home and the vague smell of urine! Had to wait until 3pm to have our room. Paid £90 for twin, really dirty hotel, smelt like an old folkes home, went to room bed was clean but windows were painted shut and mold in bathroom, stayed with my daughter for a girls weekend, horrible, the only good thing was breakfast which was ok. The staff are very unpleasant (not suprisingly as all they get is complaints) the rooms are absolutley disgusting, ours was approx 3 meters by 3 meters with huge hot pipes running through it which effectivley made it a sauna. Worse hotel ever! . Unclean bedroom, terrible bed ( springs sticking up in mattress). Dirty bathroom , no hot water the second night , complained a couple of times we got upgraded . This was even worse than the first room? We saw no cleaners while we were there for the three days. The food in the restraunt was good... more
