I stayed here with my girlfriend for one night in order to visit the theme park. I have nothing but praise for the hotel. I was able to park my car for free (for guests) directly in front of the hotel. The check in procedure was quick & painless as the reception staff were courteous. I understand there is a... More

Great hotel with only a short walk from the main attractions such as the Pleasure Beach, or a short tram ride to Tower etc. Lovely position to be away from rowdiness and noise of central Blackpool. Very family orientated hotel, which has a friendly warm feel to it. Staff helpful. Ate in restaurant and staff were excellent and did everything... More

Have just got back from a one night stay at this hotel for my daughter's 5th birthday. We paid for a deluxe family room and the wristbands into the pleasure beach. Overall this gave very good value for money, bearing in mind how much it costs to get into the pleasure beach alone. We arrived around 11.30am and we were... More

This is our second trip to the BBH. We stayed for two nights in a deluxe double, on the ground floor, front facing so not backed onto the pleasure beach. On arrival - check in very easy, we arrived at 2pm. Room was available for which we were very grateful as we had journeyed from South Glos. Receptionist was very... More

My partner and I stayed in a deluxe room. The room was large, spotless and modern. Hotel was nice and quiet, but we did stay midweek. Great location for us as we were planning a trip to the theme park, which is literally behind the hotel. We didn't eat here on the evening but the breakfast buffet was very nice.... More

I have stayed in this hotel over 10 times and to be honest it is one of my favourites whilst on business trips to Blackpool. The rooms are very clean and big, especially the junior suites. Enjoyed a bank holiday break in Blackpool, made even better by staying at 'The Big Blue Hotel' adjacent to the Pleasure Beach. Although I'd heard positive/negative feedback about this place, I thought we'd give it a try (I have 3 kids and never easy to find accomodation for us all). Room was more than adequate, kids loved it and had... More
