My sister and I took our four kids to Blackpool and stayed here for a couple of nights. The hotel is quite small, but perfect. The two guys who run it go out of their way to help you with anything. We took another couple away for the weekend , so were paying for two double rooms, and hence wanted to keep the budget to £50 per room. Looking on the net a number of Blackpool hotels would fit into this budget but many looked a little 'seedy'. The Derwent looked smarter so we went for this at £42 per room.... more
