Me, my fiance, and his two children aged 8 and 11 stayed at this hotel for 1 night on sat 7th oct. We booked the hotel through late rooms.com & were quite suprised that they offered 1 night stay as most other hotels insist on 2 night, especially when the illuminations are on.
We arrived at hotel at lunch time on the saturday, an were shown to our room, which was a family room, which consists of bunk bed one which is a double & a pull out bed, the room itself was very clean, however it was quite a squeeze for 4 of us, but coped for 1 night.
I would not recommend the family room for a stay any longer than 1 night, but for a cheap break it was ok.
We were also given a permit from the hotel wich enabled us to park right outside which was great as parking is bit of nightmare.
We had good time during our stay at blackpool, however the lights were disappointing, an not something i would recommend to anyone.

The rooms were clean and bright (unlike some places where we have seen none to clean rooms) with plain white walls and laminate flooring and had the usual tea/coffee making facilities and a small colour tv. My only complaint about them were the thin walls which meant you could hear everything going on in the next room! The usual cooked breakfast was available for a small charge which was fine. The bar is a bit of a joke with no draught beer with only a few choices of lager plus the usual spirits. The staff were wonderful and made us feel welcome even... more
