Having just returned from our first visit to the Amethyst Hotel. We are truly smitten. A well kept & faultlessly clean Hotel, well looked after rooms a rarity in some hotels in Blackpool. I despair when B&B's such as this can advertise 4 star ratings when it should be 1 or 2. The only resemblance to 4 stars was the price charged. Host was intrusive and demanded adult price for a 14 year lad. Breakfast was poor, except the cereal. Should have went to the Hilton-same price. more

Stayed here for saturday night with friends very welcoming, clean and tidy. Rooms modernly decorated with good location to town, tower etc. Good breakfast finished off an excellent break. Highly recommended. more

When we arrived we was welcome has thro' we were part of their family, which make you feel nice. The holtel, was very clean spotless! better then the big holtels, very friendly and helpful in any way.
