The owner, Mr Steel is a rude old man. He is apparently a dr but I wouldn't trust him with my life. When I spoke to one of the staff members they said that the food was make with expired produce!! more

Right from the start Vivien made our group feel welcomed. The staff, food and entertainment were all first class. Martin's quizz night was the highlight of our holiday. Before our group left Blackpool they were asking if they could come back next year to this hotel - and we will. more

Food was very good, waiter Bob was excellent. Not everyone was very happy as the heating was over bearing, not only in the hotel main reception rooms but also in the bedroom which was like the "gobi desert" with no air,and a little window that was very hard to open. The weather was mild but wet. Did not use the shower as it... more

Having stayed here for 1 night only (in hindsight this was quite enough) as we had been double booked at our usual venue I was extremely disappointed in the level of cleanliness in this hotel. The carpets in our rooms were filthy, the beds had small hairs and dirty stains on them, the showers were so dirty we didn't dare... more

Me and family have just come back from a long weekend at this hotel. Had a great time, really friendly people. Rooms were spotless and really enjoyed the food - which we thought was really cheap for the quality and choice. Live evening entertainment + bingo was on when we were there, which everyone enjoyed, including our young daughter (9).... more

Food was excellent, Room was above average, Staff were all very friendly and helpful, Best value we've had for money in Blackpool. We will be going back there again. I read reviews that were not very good but we can disagree whole heartedly that they are wrong. Mr & Mrs Hunter. Tayport more

On the quiet sea front with the tramcar or bus to Blackpool and Cleveleys stopping at the front of the hotel every 10 minutes. A relaxing atmosphere and the staff were friendly and efficient and the food for breakfast and supper was nourishing and plentiful! Clean bed sheets and a change of towels every day exceeds the 2 star rating.... more
