I would recommend the colwyn hotel. I found the staff very obliging, the rooms were very clean and the cooked breakfast was very nice. My son and daughter enjoyed their stay and my son was pleased their was a pool table. I found Charles and Ruby very nice people who really looked after their guests. The hotel was very cosy.... more

Just returned from a very pleasant 5 day stay at the Colwyn. I found the hotel to be clean & comfortable, and the staff very helpful. indeed the manager Charles is very proffesional replying to e-mails before my arrival. My room was good. The food was great, and i would recommend the Colwyn to anyone. Good show. more

My wife and I spent 8 nights at the Colwyn Hotel from the 13th April 2007. The day that we arrived was a also a change of ownership for the hotel. Charles and Sheila have taken over and although it was their first week the service and food was excellant. backed up by the staff we had a great week... more

i,m a single mum and stayed for a week midd summer with my two young sons and dog. rooms were clean although maybe bit small if you have a pram, staff were extremley freindly and helpfull couldent do enough for us we are going back next year, highly recomended more

Totally agree with the review from Shropshire in Nov 05. The only positive about this hotel is the position to the Pleasure Beach and the parking. more

Recentley stayed at The Colwyn Hotel, But never again!! Room was shabby with carpet not even reaching walls and showing bare floor boards, heating not on very often so room was freezing, no hot water for shower most of the time and hotel nearly empty (Was only one in most of stay), so no atmosphere.
