Great Location, nice hotel, great breakfast, friendly staff, right on the seafront close to the Pleasure Beach yet pleasently and surprising quiet. Would definately stay again. more

When looking around the internet for 'pet friendly' hotels it really limits your choice and it's a case of either settling for a dingy B&B on the outskirts of Preston or paying the ridiculous price of fancy new mansions who charge an extra £50 for the dog. So we thought we'd stumbled upon a cracker when we found the Colwyn... more

Where do I start... The staff were so friendly! they couldn't do enough for you. I moved my car from the carpark onto the road one day and accidently put my steering lock on, (where the keys to unlock it were in Newcastle!!!). I went to see the manager to ask if he had anything to get it off with.... more

We went to Blackpool to take our son and 7 of his 16 year old friends. Many hotels would not entertain us, or wanted to charge stupid prices £100 per person per night! Not the Colwyn, they made us all feel very welcome. We weren't expecting great things as the hotel was such a bargain. We had 3 rooms, all... more

Stayed at this hotel through a football tournament. The manageress called Ruby was anything but child friendly and would not recomend this hotel if you have chillden. On arrival we were all taken in lounge to be given our keys for our rooms. We had not even had a seat and were given a lecture regarding lifts and breakages all... more

Myself, my wife, and our pet cat stayed here when Ray ran the hotel. The food was excellent, more than enough to eat, and the bar was cosy. I used to "entertain" on the organ in the bar... it made the holiday for me. The only fault I can pick up on, is there when times when "football teams" came... more

We stayed for one night at this hotel and one night was enough the rooms were so small, you could hardly swing a cat, they were very cold and as you have 2 large windows in a very small room, with wafer thin cream curtains, the slighest bit of daylight your waking up, not good if your hungover. They have... more
