When looking around the internet for 'pet friendly' hotels it really limits your choice and it's a case of either settling for a dingy B&B on the outskirts of Preston or paying the ridiculous price of fancy new mansions who charge an extra £50 for the dog. So we thought we'd stumbled upon a cracker when we found the Colwyn... more
Where do I start... The staff were so friendly! they couldn't do enough for you. I moved my car from the carpark onto the road one day and accidently put my steering lock on, (where the keys to unlock it were in Newcastle!!!). I went to see the manager to ask if he had anything to get it off with.... more

I found the hotel to be clean & comfortable, and the staff very helpful. indeed the manager Charles is very proffesional replying to e-mails before my arrival. My room was good. The food was great, and i would recommend the Colwyn to anyone. Good show. more
We stayed for one night at this hotel and one night was enough the rooms were so small, you could hardly swing a cat, they were very cold and as you have 2 large windows in a very small room, with wafer thin cream curtains, the slighest bit of daylight your waking up, not good if your hungover. They have... more
