Spent last weekend at the Claremont - stayed at the Claremont before. Food and restaurant staff excellent although not much room in between tables. Rooms very clean standard. All staff deserve a mention - friendly and helpful. Entertainment as always excellent - compare and Ryan fantastic. Ryan should have a much longer slot. Kids club was very well organised it... more

Spent a little bit more this year on what looked a decent hotel, which in its day probably was to be fair to it. Corridors tiny, room on the small side for the price. I wish we had of booked with a travelodge it was so disappointing. Old fashioned is no way to explain the place it is totally... more

Having read some of the negative reviews on TripAdvisor I'm not sure whether we are staying in the same place. The Claremont is an excellent hotel. The food is exceptional and we found that dietary needs were dealt with well. The room was very spacious however it could get extremely warm in the night. The Swimming Pool is very clean... more

My husband and I have stayed at the Claremont on a few occasions and each time we have said we won't go back due to the lager being undrinkable. The bar manager has to hit the rim of the glass with a bottle to get a head on it, even the comedians take the micky out of the beer because... more
