The reviews i read for this place sounded great, but it wasnt so great to us. The family room to house the 5 of us (2 adults, 2 children and a baby) was no bigger than a double sized room so felt very claustiphobic and no room to move and put a dampener on the holiday. Shabby furniture, unsteady bunk... more

spent 4 days at the Langroyd. We were very happy with the hotel, very clean, cosy & very welcoming. John & Jane were very pleasant & nothing was too much trouble. The service they give is 100%, enjoyed so much we have booked to go again in August. This hotel is perfect for couples or families, looking forward to August... more

What a difference!! Stayed in 2004 and again this month. This hotel has gone from distinctly average to FAB in the last year+. Totally different experience. This hotel has undergone a huge transformation. The new owners, John & Jane really look after you, the rooms are spotless and the breakfast is top quality. Nothing is too much trouble for John... more
