my daughter and her 2 small children,ages 3,and 1,and myself the dad arrived on friday the 18-7-08 greeted in an o/k manner.got up the following morning my daughter was asked to keep the 1 year old child quiet .as soon as the baby started crying my daughter took the children out.when she came back she was told to keep the... more
Thank you for your comments. We have 12 rooms in this hotel and when 8 of them are complaining (including families with children) about being woken up at 6.45 by your grandchildren running round the corridors screaming incessantly, then we have a duty to ask your daughter to attempt to control them. We are sorry she took offence to this...
The reviews i read for this place sounded great, but it wasnt so great to us. The family room to house the 5 of us (2 adults, 2 children and a baby) was no bigger than a double sized room so felt very claustiphobic and no room to move and put a dampener on the holiday. We always appreciate constructive criticism from our guests. However, the fact that you had already emailed us on 17th August praising the hotel, we are somewhat perplexed.
spent 4 days at the Langroyd. We were very happy with the hotel, very clean, cosy & very welcoming. John & Jane were very pleasant & nothing was too much trouble.
