Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A proper little gem of a B&B... 11/10. Mark. Nicki and all the amazing staff at the Sandford Promenade Blackpool made our stay the best from start to finish. We enjoyed our stay that much we were able to book an extra night. We have been here before and would not hesitate to stay again. Highly recommended to family and friends. Such a lovely friendly family run B&B.. The hospitality and welcome was first class. Mark and Nicki go that extra mile nothing is to much for them. And the cooked breakfast was perfect and plentiful in every way. Definalty the best around and fills you up for the rest of your day ahead... Thankyou again to you all.

As a coach driver I don't get the option to book my own accommodation. I came here with a dance group last year and enjoyed the experience of this b@b. I have had the opportunity to bring the dance group again and as soon as they said we are staying in the Sandford I was so happy. Mark nicky and family are so welcoming its hard to believe your in Blackpool. There is not a single thing that is to much trouble for them. So acomadating from as you arrive to as you leave. I wouldn't want to stay in any other b@b here in Blackpool so for me to be the best you got to beat the best and you guys have definitely done that. Keep up the excellent work kind regard and thankyou so much for yet another amazing stay

My friend and myself booked into this hotel based on the excellent reviews. We found they were all true to there word. Greeted and booked in by Nicky who is a lovely pleasant lady, who just happens to cook an amazing Full English 😀 😋..thank you Nicky. Our room was spotlessly clean, roomy and well stocked with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits 😋. Very quiet too. Mark was very accommodating, gave us information on what we needed. Arranged our taxi for our evening out to a show. Helped make our stay less daunting on our trip to Blackpool.. The hotel is the first I have stayed in that has the homely family feel to it. A cosy dayroom, stocked with games, toys a pool table as well as a bar and piano. Fully accommodating for families with children . The fact they even have pushchairs available for use is the best idea I've seen. We will be returning next year, hopefully a longer stay. With amazing owners, beautiful views and the fact you go in as a guest and come out feeling you're part of the family, you'd not want to go elsewhere.

We stayed for 2 nights, and Mark, the owner, goes out of his way to make sure you stay is memorable You have tea and coffee in your room, and the breakfast was lovely. You also got free carparking, which is a bonus , would recommend let Mark move your car Overall really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning here in the future

Stayed at the sandford for the 3rd year running with my sister nieces and my little boy, as always this guest house is amazing. Mark and nicky are so welcoming as always and it was lovely to see them again. We were in the family room again which was spotless. The breakfast as always is absolutely amazing and fresh. The reason we return each year to the same place is because you are genuinely made to feel so welcome and the place is amazing for kids. On a side note Mark also makes an amazing pina colada and the bar in the guest house is brilliant prices in comparison to some of the bars. Thank you as always for an amazing stay.

We stayed at the Sanford promenade for a short break, the three of us my partner, daughter and I have stopped here in the past and we were really glad that we paid another visit. The hotel is situated roughly mid promenade so all three piers' are within a easy reach either a refreshing walk along the promenade or catching a tram a couple of minutes from the hotel front door. Mark and Nicky the owners at time of writing are amazing hosts and will do virtually anything to make sure there guests are welcome and enjoying there stay. The hotel rooms are gradually being updated, the room we slept in was a family room, clean, airy and a decent size with double bed and bunk beds, en-suite, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Downstairs the lounge was very comfortable nicely stocked bar, pool table, big TV and a great selection of toys for youngsters to play with to keep them occupied. The Sanford is a lovely family run hotel Ideal for families and couples or solo visitors wanting a chilled and comfortable couple of days. The breakfast choice was really good a large selection of cereal, yoghurt s and plenty of drink choices, the cooked breakfast was tasty and definitely filled a gap before a refreshing stroll up the promenade or on to the beach. My family and I would highly recommend the Sanford promenade hotel.
