stayed here mid June 2009 for 7 nights after a mate of mine stayed there last month, he wasn't wrong when he said "it's bang in the centre of everything!" really nice helpful staff, esp Christian the night porter/bar tender, he's a great guy and wacky as... I will keep this simple stayed for two nights, moved room three times and although the rooms got cleaner you would not want to stay any longer than you had to. All rooms were very dated and dirty bathrooms tiny and dirty. all in all stay away!!!!!!!!! more

WELL dont know where other person stayed BUT we stayed at hotel avante myself and wife and few friends, we had mixed rooms few ensuite and few basic and the rooms were top class not a fault could we find. breakfast perfect, late bar the staff 1st class and the manager christian made us more than welcome and nothing was... more

stay away from this place. looks good from outside and ground floor BUT god help you when you go into room BASIC tell me about it just bed sink NO wardrobe dirty old carpet that dated to prewar. staff friendly made up for the room. but wouldt stay there again if it the only hotel with rooms left more
