Thank you to Sandra and Arthur again for being the perfect hosts on our return trip. Everything spotlessly clean, a wonderful breakfast and evening meals to satisfy even the fussiest guests. If you visit Blackpool and want good value for money, don't waste time looking elsewhere. This is "the" place to stay! Spotlessly clean and well situated with excellent food and owners who can't do enough for you. We were part of a small group and took over the whole hotel - we had a ball! We stayed at the Scala during March 09. The hotel is located right behind the Pleasure Beach - so close in fact that I could hear the 'Pepsi Max' from my bedroom!! myself and my husband stayed at the scala hotel in blackpool for a long weekend so i could visit my brother and have quality time this was a great place to stay the owners were so friendley and helpfull the room was absolutley lovely the bed was so comftable the breakfast was cooked perfect we had a relly good comftable... more

stayed at the scala hotel for two nights, were greeted by sandra (owner), oh what a lovely lady. rooms were clean tidy and so comfortable, breakfast was 1st class, nothing is to much bother for sandra or arthur. made very welcome would deffinatly go back again more

I've stayed at the Scala twice and both times the service has been really good. In particular, being a vegan, I notice food a lot and they were pretty accomodating to my needs - giving me soya milk and margarine, despite not staying long.
