The greeting was wanting payment before we saw the room. The proprietor was very curt and abrupt in her manner because i would not let her drive and park my vehicle in the minuscule car park!!! The owner was very abrupt and rude when it came to parking and almost knocked my room door down in a hissy fit over... more

We have stayed in this hotel before management changed hands and back then this Hotel was run very well, we felt very welcome and had a great time. However last year on arrival the atmosphere had changed and threw the course of our weeks stay things didn't get better. I felt that the bar area was a burdon to the... more

Refusal to allow access to the room is not an option in a case where water and fire are involved. Water dripping through electric lights and onto the floor potentially involves both water and fire. I understood the position was resolved at the time and I am disappointed to read this review nearly a year on.

Never again would we set foot in this secound class hotel! The staff were very rude and controlling towards us and are children. The rooms were small, unkept and needed a total up grade. The breakfast was small in portions and already plated so dont ask for any variety. If you want a fun stay in this secound class hotel... more

This is the one on Alexandria Road!!! this was definitely not a hotel, more like a second rate b&b and not worth the money. one member of staff was particularly rude and obnoxious towards every guest in the hotel. She made what should have been a fun week away utterly miserable for every guest in the hotel. She was rude... more
