Just arrived back from stayin at the Cavendish and what can i say apart from superb. Booked 2 double en-suite rooms and was really glad to find a lovely and spotlessly clean hoterl with great hosts(Christine andRoy). the cavendish is a small friendly hotel in the north shore. we booked by phone on the off chance and we were not disappointed. the landlady is lovely, the room was spotless, the food was great. the location is quiet and although the street is somewhat run down the hotel is a little haven for those seeking a quiet break... more

Five of us stayed here from 11.09.2009 to 13.09.2009. Rooms were clean and tidy with freeview tv and DVD player. Had tea and coffee making facilities with a wash handbasin. Breakfast was lovely - bacon, egg, sausage, fried bread, beans or toms, toast with a choice of cearal. Hotel was situated only a couple mins walk from the sea front... more
