Upon arrival we were met with a very warm welcome by Pat who showed us to our double room which was a little on the small side but was nicely decorated. Hotel is in a great location close to the beach and within walking distance of bars, shops etc but also just far enough away from the rowdy crowds. Throughout... More

The reason you stay in a privately owned hotel such as this is the personal service you get from the owners and that is exactly what you get at the Glenroy. I stayed here for work with a young autistic lad who I was taking on holiday and we had a fantastic time. The owner is so friendly and really... More

I have given this review after reading the ONE poor review i have just read. On behalf of my wife Lisa and myself,we are totally astounded and disgusted at this sad person's , what appears to seem, DRINK FUELLED outburst! Anyway, enough about that, We both, along with our friends , Danny & Irene have enjoyed a number of years at the... More

Had a fab weekend at the Glenroy. Met at the door by Pat and he made us feel at home from the beginning to the end. We were given a room on the front of the building with a wake up call from seagulls. (we were at the seaside) Really is a stones throw from beach, bus stop on main... More

Trip to Blackpool for 40th Birthday weekend, booked The Glenroy, couldn't have had anywhere more friendly and welcoming, from the moment Pat and Mo said Hi to the moment they said Bye. Rooms clean and comfortable, coffee and tea very welcome, hearty breakfast to start your day with, whatever that day might hold. Bar well stocked and very good prices... More

The Glenroy is a good, no frills B&B. The Ritz it ain't, but it is clean, tidy and very welcoming. Pat and his mum were the best of hosts and nothing was too much for them - Pat even saved a street parking spot for us using his own car; above and beyond what I have ever experienced. If we... More

We have stayed in many hotels in Blackpool ,[ even with a concierge, ] and the most friendliest and welcome place we have found has been The Glenroy. Pat and Maureen are the perfect hosts, lovely rooms, breakfast to die for and nothing is too much trouble. So much so we have met many friends there and kept in touch.... More

We stayed at the Hotel in July and had a great time from the minute we arrived until it was time to leave. Pat and Maureen are such lovely people and made us feel so welcome. Our room was very clean and modern and we were very impressed. Breakfast was great and set you up for the day. My Parents... More

There was no hot water when we took a shower ,no hair dryer , the room pokey and small ,we had to step on the bed to get to the other side of the room. We paid for a sea view and if you stuck your head on the glass and turned right you could not see it still. The bath... More

May I remind the customer perhaps he should go to specsavers when you look out of the bedroom... More
