Once again this proved an excellent venue for our large group. Excellent food simply served by a friendly and cheerful staff. Made to feel at home and nothing was too much bother, even arranging to have a large screen TV so we could watch "Strictly come Dancing" . Thanks Dave and Sue for everything ....I will be back (If allowed)... more

Stayed at the henson for the illuminations weekend, we found the hotel was spotless, all the staff were friendly, breakfast was well worth getting up for even with a massive hangover!!!! would recommend and would definately return!!! only one slight thing you may notice are the creaky floorboards!! but for the money it is excellent. more
Excellent stay staff made us feel so welcome, There were people there that had been there before all with young children and they were all great my Daughter felt right at home. Breakfast was divine and set us up for the day. It was a fab break and will be going there again soon thank you all. more
Well what can we say we had a fantastic stay here there were about 50 of us maybe more we held a meet here all friends for the internet sue and dave made us so welcome we had stayed there before terry and myself but 1st time with a large group and all was wonderful great rooms entertainment and food... more
My husband, daughter her boyfriend and myself only booked the day before our arrival just for one night . We arrived early in the morning but we knew it was to early to book in.
