I don't know what hotel the previous reviewer stayed at but it wasn't The New Marlbro in Blackpool. This hotel is in bad need of a refurbishment it is very run down. The staff are not very pleasent. Won't be going back more

I had a fantastic stay here with my friends and family, all of the staff especially Mandy Kerr was very helpful, curteous and just couldn't do enough for us and they were very entertaining, what a great time we all had. The food was lovely and I just couldn't fault it and great value for money. We will definately return... more

I had booked this hotel earlier in the year and after reading some of the recent comments made about the place I must say I was worried that I would be turning up to some kind of hell hole! How wrong could I have been?! Upon arrival I was greeted like one of the family, Mandy sat me in the... more

We booked two rooms and neither of them were clean the beds were well used uncomfortable with bedding which has seen better days... more

The only really good thing about this hotel is the location. After checking in we headed to the lift to go to our room. The lift is a joke it has louver doors (wardrobe door), which are not very safe at all. The room was ok it was a sea view room the windows could have done with a good... more

Spent a couple of nights here to savour the famous Blackpool Illuminations. The hotel is in a fantastic location and the hotel itself was fine if not a little bit tired. Our room wasn't too bad and clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable. Some wallpaper peeling off but nothing to be really put off about. Biggest moan from most... more

This was a dirty, rundown hotel. The rooms had damp stains and broken furniture and smelled of smoke. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls in places, and the curtains hanging off their poles. We asked to see better rooms as we were unhappy and were shown the same standard. We did not check in, and when we tried to... more
