We stayed at The Bradgate Hotel in Leicester and had an awful two nights stay! You could not call it a "hotel". We booked a triple room for myself and my two children only to find out that there were some problems on arriving and we ended up in a twin and a double room, albeit next to each other. The first night there was a storm and the rain tripled through the ceiling onto the floor!! On approaching this subject, the "manager" said that they had had an earthquake some months previous - no apology or moving rooms whatsoever. He just said that the weather forecast for the next day was fog!! The room also smelt of smoke. On mentioning this, the manager said that he hadn't noticed the smell. In the twin room, one of the beds was on "wheels" and on complaining about this, the manager put a piece of wood at the foot of the bed to stop the bed from moving around!!
