Five of us were booked in here by the company. Quite reasonably priced, including a continental breakfast. Rooms are in an adjacent block, and adequate, with a snack vending machine. Three of us had ground floor rooms and the floors in all of them were giving way (maybe rotten?), didn't seem particularly safe, there were stains in the carpets all... more

Stayed here for 2 nights in the lodge. Room was small (double) with a strange smell, maybe all the water stains in the hallway had something to do with it, and excessive creaking from all floorboards. Shower had poor pressure, all in all 6.5 / 10 more

The company I work for forces us to stay in this hotel as a cost cutting measure (it's about the cheapest you'll find in Leicester). There is a good reason why it's so cheap; it's in the middle of nowhere and is at best average in every respect. A cab trip in to the town centre is at least £15... more

16 friends (2 from Spain; 2 from Ireland; 2 from Canada) stayed at this Lodge for 2 nights. Last year we met at the Leicester Hilton, which we enjoyed but was too expensive this year. We booked wondering what it would be like. Bluntly, it was fantastic! 2 people 2 nights £59 including continental breakfast total NOT EACH. Rooms roomy... more

My partner and family stayed at the Red Cow Inn on Saturday 6th December 2008 as we were visiting family who live in the Kirby Muxlow area of Leicester (about 15 minutes drive from the City Centre). My partner and I were allocated a room on the ground floor of the inn which was on the front of the hotel... more

The hotel is really good value for money.. we paid £55 for a night (after visiting the nearby Space Museum). You check in over at the pub since there's no reception (or night watchman) where the accommodation is. On arrival there was some broken glass (from a car window) in the car park.. that unnerved me slightly, since I get... more

The Red Cow is part of the Innkeeper's Lodge group, it is first class, the room was clean, comfortable, with a good well equipped bathroom ( bath and shower), the rooms are situated in a seperate building from the Inn, complimentary breakfast is served at the Inn, contintental, nothing cooked, but more than adequate, all in all excellent value for... more
