This is our third stay, and we have found the staff very kind and helpful. Excellent position near the cathedral, very good value for money, and the breakfast excellent. Fully recommended unless you want up to date furnishings, dated but cosy.

this b&b is a throw back to sleeping at my great grandmas.. it was so cold in our room it was unbearable, curtains were freely blowing in the draughty mouldy windows, the bed felt wet it was so damp, very outdated decor, stained toilet.. and hairs in the bath plughole.. yuk..very uninviting, however the breakfast was nice, and lincoln was a... Our third stay at the Old Rectory and once again we couldnt fault it, service was great, breakfast was fine and our room (8) was clean and cosy. If you want sterility and to be a room number then travelodge is probably more your cup of tea but we like the atmosphere at the Rectory and we have already booked... More

This B & B is a throw back to bygone days and reminds me of lovely childhood holidays. We have stayed many times and go back as much for it's originality in this sterile world of hospitality as it's location (5 minutes amble to the Cathedral) and great value for money. Sure the decor is 1950's but the sausage at... More

This Bed and Breakfast was no more than adequate. It was clean but too old-fashioned for my taste and it does need a refurbishment as the building is very interesting and could be beautifully presented with more effort.. We were attending a christening so its location was unimportant, but if you were to stay here it really is a very... More

We stayed at the Old Rectory for the weekend . The room was clean and tidy with everything you need. The locotation is fantastic just a couple of mins walk to Lincoln old quarter and all its charm. Plenty of free parking at the hotel. The owner and his wife are charming always ready with advice during our stay. Breakfast... More

You won't get a better B&B than this for the money. Superbly placed for the historic town with plenty of its own off road parking and free to come and go as you please. The comfortable rooms retain the character of the Victorian Rectory from which it was converted and the owner is happy to help you with local information... More

This hotel is in a lovely location and ideal to just park the car and leave it there! You can walk in to the city and see all the attractions without having to drive or park. The hotel is old fashioned without a doubt but one should see it as a cheap, clean and extremely convenient place to stay. The... More

Just returned from a wonderful weekend break in Lincoln. We stayed at the Old rectory which is located right at the end of Bailgate, and a five minuet stroll to the main attractions. The hotel is old fashioned but you would expect it to be, it was clean and the staff very helpful the breakfast was good (some people prefer... More

we once again based ourselves at the Old Rectory for our stay in Lincoln for the Airshow at Waddington. Cannot fault the hotel, its clean, cosy, comfortable and within easy reach of Lincolns many attractions. We've booked again for next year and I cannot wait.
