Part of 24 tour from John O'Groats to Lands End using B&Bs. Found some that were quite oustanding - so only mark Newport as Very Good relative to them. Key issue for anyone choosing it should be location. Being on 'top Lincoln' is convenient for Cathedral and some restaurants on 'the hill'. Alternative of 'bottom Lincoln' is near bus and... more

Location: This is 5 minutes walk away from the heart of the Old Town. It is located in a quiet main road. There is a parking behind the house. Access is easy and the house is easy to find. I went down to Lincoln for a family get-together and me and my sister needed an extra space to stay, with a bit of research on the internet, I decided on here and am very happy I did. The rooms are very good, beds are comfy and well presented. Freeview TV provided in all rooms and good en suite facilities.... more

If you wish to have a B&B near town, this is a great option. The B&B is clean, location is ideal, and the proprietor is friendly. Free wifi is a bonus, room has tea/coffee making facilities, and there is freeview TV. Breakfast is cooked as requested, and prices are good.
