Stayed 2 nights while attending my sons graduation at the Cathedral. As has been previously mentioned it sits right next to the Cathedral and is somewhat a blot on the landscape for that area, however you can't blame the hotel for that. The down side was that when we arrived, a wedding reception was taking place which made it difficullt manouvering ourselves and luggage through the guests to get to the desk to check in. We stayed at hotel for new years eve ball. Had a lovely balcony room with fantastic views of the cathedral. After a sumptuous 7 course dinner, we danced the night away at the new years eve party. Nice room- though quite small there was plenty enough room for over night break. Lovely location and surroundings. Wine bar was nice to come back to following night out and staff there excellent. Breakfast was great-lots of choice and friendly service. Had no issues with any noise during stay and overall a really pleasant experience. More
