Friends birthday weekend away, booked two twin rooms, when we arrived one was on the ground floor other on first, we asked why and was told we should booked them together, we told the receptionist we had! Very friendly staff, excellent value for money. It's not 5 star but couldn't do any better for the location and facilities it has to offer. Had a cathedral view room which was very clean and comfortable. Free parking was a bonus. The food was really good, breakfast all hot and well cooked. Will def be back for a weekend away.

Stayed for one night only. Rooms were clean and tidy and staff were welcoming. We dined in the hotel restaurant and the food and service was very good. Breakfast was excellent. If there was anything worth mentioning to the hotel, I would ditch the dark brown colour doors to the rooms. A nice light colour would make a difference and... More

Stayed here overnight before a meeting. Very clean and tidy with spotless shower. Good restaurant especially on a Sunday evening. See separate review. Location right by the Cathedral was excellent. Access by road a bit confusing with one way systems. Main downside - charge for parking. Not high for a central location but unnecessary.
