Stayed for two nights on a special offer; £240 for two sharing, including breakfast and dinner. Would not have been happy if I had paid the full price. On arriving at Woodhall Spa for a wedding we were excited to reach our Hotel and when driving into the car park we were very impressed by the exterior and surrounding grounds. That's were our stay started going downhill, we were met by a "lady" behind reception who made sunny woodhall spa seem more like tha artic to be honest.... more

As the words above suggest, the place is massively over priced for what it is. The place is really dated, lino on the floor in the bathroom, chintsy prints on the beds and curtains. £120 for one night. Shocking. Half that would've been reasonable. I'd stay at the golf hotel if you need to stay in Woodhall, much better looking. more

Great Place - But Avoid and you won't be disappointed. The Hotel and Garden are quite stunning - 4/5 - The Ground Floor area eg: Reception, Bar, Study, Drawing Room are very well appointed and create a very good impression. this hotel set in the lovely town of woodhall spa with history relating to world war 2. It is a gorgeous old building with masssive grounds. Unfortunaltey this hotel does not upkeep its standard to make it stunning, instead I found it dull. The staff are not friendly and all have a cold attitude to service. Got a so called special rate £250 for 2 Nights for a wedding we were attending. Got there the staff were rude the room was filthy cob webs, mould ,cracked tiles in the bathroom, bedding from the fifty’s TV channels 1 to 4 no other stations. Had to play about with an antiquated shower mixer to take a shower,bathroom suite... more
