Just back from a 2 night mid-week break. The positives- the reception area was very christmassy! The reception staff were so friendly and helpful. The bed was massive and very comfortable. Foyer was lovely all decorated ready for Christmas. The only negative about the hotel was the breakfast,. The dining room was very busy and the staff could not replenish the hot buffet quick enough. The food wsas barely wsarm - would have been dissappointed id I'd paid £14-15 for it. more

On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by very friendly receptionist and check-in as very efficient. The twin rooms were clean, comfortable but were very small. Breakfast in the morning was very disorganised, they were very slow to re-stock food which meant people were standing about waiting, food was cold. the staff couldnt do enough for us, extremely polite and helpful on reception, had a few queries regarding how to work heating, booking taxi's etc and it was no problem to the staff helping with any of the queries. Nice location, busy hotel we had to wait for the lifts, comfy rooms. Food a bit disappointing but plenty of restaurants nearby Good value for the price we paid, would stay again more
