I had booked two twin rooms for a Saturday night stay in July, after visiting the hotel website and falling in love with the Trials Hotel. Unfortunately my expectations were crushed when I arrived at the hotel to find a somewhat dusty room at the back of an alleyway where my wonderful view was that of a brick wall -it... more

At first sight our room looked absolutely lovely. It was large and nicely decorated. Upon closer inspection, we noticed the shower curtain had mold growing on the bottom, the room was a bit dusty, as if no one had used it for quite a while. The most disappointing thing was that there was no cold water in the sink, nor... more

I couldn't put my bathroom light on unless I had the main lights of the room on. It may well have been a large room but it was cold and looked so run down. A friend... more

I have just finished my stay at this hotel. The receptionist was very helpful and had a great local knowledge. The room was huge although the bed was a bit on the small side. The Jacuzi was great to unwind and relax in. The views out of the bedroom window were fantastic, it was over looking the Queen Elizabeth II... more

Wonderful accomodations with a warm staff. The rooms were huge and mine had lovely balconies that looked out on the Queen Vic Square and the Albert Docks were in view as well. The jacuzzi tubs were luxurious and the morning breakfast room service was incredible! I ADORE this hotel! :-) more

This hotel has the greatest receptionsist in the world. We work for a company who specialise in giving hotel staff a hard time and we are the best. This lady was fantastic and helped us tremendously, it has to be said that she works her socks off whilst her employer takes her for granted, LINDA, get the hell outa there,... more
