I am 50., menopausel & not good with technology. I tried the TV internet. Although, it was easy, I got flustered, and could not access anything after 10 mins. I called reception to disconnect me, as I didn't want to pay. Instead of saying they would come & help, they just kept saying I had to pay, as I accessed.... more

We stayed one night in the Ibis, it wasnt pre booked we just went on the off chance, our room was lovely and clean, even the cube shaped bathroom was acceptable. We ate in the hotel in the evening, the food was lovely and the staff were all very pleasant and polite. I plan on returning very soon. more

We stopped at the hotel for a colleagues retirement bash held in the city. Having read the many mixed reviews I was apprehensive as to what I was going to experience, I need not have worried. The main points, the rooms were clean, the décor was budget hotel, the bar stopped serving at 1 pm, the car parking was a... more

Myself and my 5 year old son stayed here for a long weekend purely for leisure reasons. I've always wanted to visit Liverpool and was thoroughly impressed with the city. When people write reviews saying the hotel is cheap and tacky then I'd have to disagree, an Ibis is an Ibis not the Ritz and in my opinion the hotel... more

Booked through tourist board at £118 for 2 nights. On arrival they tried to charge us £190. Parking was supposed to be free but it was £3 a day. We did get the room for £118 and free parking but only after 10-15 minutes standing our ground at reception. Key card did not work and was changed 3 times then... more

This entire hotel exudes cheap and tacky. The thinnest possible carpets, slim mattress on an unsprung base, tiny towels. If all you want is a cheap bed for the night then maybe this is it but expect no comfort.. Noisy corridors with nothing to dampen the loud voices (thin carpets again with little underlay) Reception is all exposed pipework and... more

Generally I'm not one to take into consideration reviews about bad service as that is something that can vary from person to person, but, as I was travelling with my dad I wanted to make sure they had reserved a twin room so after booking online I also phoned the hotel directly and requested a twin room. On arrival we... more

I stayed here for 10 nights in succession with a big group to participate in World Firefighters Games 2008 and we were very satisfied. The location is just great to reach tourist attractions such as Beatles Story, Cavern Club and Royal Liver Building in walking distance. The staffs were especially very friendly and helpful to make their clients feel comfortable... more

Just came back from a weekend in Liverpool. We've stayed in Ibis, cause it's been recommended by our friends. Lovely location. We paid £95.00 which is about 110 euros. It's good value for the money for the 2 star hotel. If you cant afford that money you cant stay in city centre cause you will not find a hotel on... more
