The deal is a 3 course meal and a film all for £15 - good bargain! The food was mediocre, the soup starter was tepid, the main was chicken breast with wedges, a spoon of coleslaw and chilli mayo with a cheesecake for desert!! Chicken was cooked nice but the wedges were straight from a freezer. The cheesecake was ok,... More

I booked this hotel over the internet. I was charmed by the photos which made it appear to be a rather sumptuous, traditional hotel - rather like a gentleman's club - and the label "boutique". Unfortunately, only the tariff matched this description. The bedroom was small and very basic with a stained carpet and an overwhelming smell of new paint,... More

I stayed in this hotel 3-5 may 2013 with a group of girls. Great location but quite noisy outside with traffic & people. Woken up at 6/7 am by the bins being emptied & glass smashing as they were emptied. Rooms basic but clean, I wouldn't say it was a boutique hotel as they state. Breakfast continental with the option... More

Very central, staff very helpful but arriving on a Sunday I found the hotel corridors and reception area untidy and uncleaned. The bedrooms were ok but the advertised Wifi throughout the hotel didn't work in the bedrooms. This hotel needs a complete make over to make more use of its excellent location.

Booked this hotel last minute on the internet. Wish we had slept in the car. This hotel is described as a "boutique" hotel, I think they meant to spell "bucket". Our room (203) was rotten, thread bare carpet, dirty bathroom, uncomfortable bed, smell of tobacco which is not nice for non smokers. Old sash windows meant it was noisy.Television didn't work, overall the room was... More

I stayed in this hotel six years ago and enjoyed it so decided to book again to use as a base for visiting family on the Wirral. The man behind the reception desk is lovely and very polite and there was no problem checking in. The room was very basic but clean, couple of lights weren't working and the tv... More

Missus and I passed thru Liverpool to watch a football game during a trip and stayed here for one night only. The hotel was ideally located for the city centre and the main train station at Lime Street was only a 7 minute walk away. The room was clean and inviting as was the bathroom, w/ the usual amenities; there... More

I recently stayed in Sir Thomas Hotel with my boyfriend and we enjoyed our stay.
