Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Noice and parking fine issued for blue badge holder Staff need to be cautious when kids were making noise on the corridor as this could be seen through CCTV. We reported it but nothing was done about it. I hope something will be done about the parking ticket issued despite that I parked within blue badge space as reported it to the staff that checked us in.

A basic budget hotel - appears to be new. Staff are what you'd expect in Liverpool, helpful and friendly. Public area rather spartan and unwelcoming. Room (417) and bathroom were clean. The bed dipped alarmingly in the middle - damaged? Evening food offering was minimal, told there was a problem so ended up with a small pizza. Breakfast not bad at all - a reasonable spread. There was no one on reception when we left or I would have mentioned the car park - surely the manager would have some pride in its condition. It gives you a sinking feeling arriving in a place and seeing piles of rubbish stuck in the hedges and verges. Or is it frequented by the same people who chuck rubbish out of their cars anyway?

A basic but decent and affordable hotel, good place if you just need somewhere to rest your head. The bed was really comfy but the room was very stuffy. Hard to leave the window open with the noise of the road outside. The room could have benefitted from air con. Tea and coffee facilities very limited but the bare basics were there. Good shower, nice big clean towels as you sometimes never know the size of the towels you will get. All over a good sized room for just me and a TV that worked so a comfortable stay for a couple of nights as a base for somewhere to stay.

Room Tip: Bring your own shampoo/conditioner and toilettries as the dispenser in the bathroom wasn't great...

Enjoyed a brief one night stay (last night) here with my friend. The Staff were OUTSTANDING. We were greeted by the wonderful Mustafa and Bonny. Bonny went above and beyond to get a room for my friend and I next door to each other. The room was spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable. My Friend had an Accessible Room, and it was very spacious with a huge bathroom. She was very pleased. We had a bite to eat in the bar in the evening and met Kiara, again, another fabulous Staff Member. She was very attentive, courteous and looked after us extremely well. The Hotel has a bus stop right outside, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. We met another friendly staff member on checkout, unfortunately I didn't catch her name. You would honestly think the Staff here owned the Hotel with their enthusiasm to help you, friendliness and warm personalities. I've stayed in many Hotels in Liverpool previously, which I enjoy too, but because of the four wonderful Staff Members I met in The Travelodge Liverpool Airport, I'll be making this my base future tense!

Rooms were fine; clean, airy, fresh decor. Staff were lovely; helpful & engaging. Bar/seating area could do with some new sofas. All a bit worn looking. Breakfast was awful. First morning I tried cooked breakfast of scrambled egg, tomato & mushroom. Food was pretty cold & didn't taste very nice. Second morning I tried cereal & croissants instead. Croissant tasted stale. Will skip breakfast on next stay!

WOW what can I say The 2 members of staff that have been on whilst I was here words cannot describe. Kiera and rue 2 of the nicest politice people you would ever expect to meet. They are willing to go above and beyond what it is ther ment to do WOW Polite respectful curtious any company would have them as the face of ther company. 2 of the nicest ppl you would ever expect to meet not just in a hotel but anywhere in your life words cannot describe what they have done for my experience. As a person who could of been having a bad day these 2 would be sure to turn your own mood upside down regardless of what could be going on in your life. A random act of kindness goes a long way and it doesn't have to be materialistic but even just a ear to listen These 2 girls are 2 of a kind you will never meet any 2 like them if u do then wow ur very very lucky Girls I can't even put into words what yous have done all I can do Is hope yous all the best in the world and any 1 who has yous around them are very lucky people Yous are a credit to yourselfs and your family. Hope yous all the best in life Live long and prosper Thanks you again girls your manager needs to realise how lucky they are to have yous Thanks again
