We stayed one night before an early flight. The lady that owned the hotel was very helpful. The hotel and the room we stayed in were all spotlessly clean. Went to Liverpool to visit family - couldn't stay at my mum's house so we deviced to stay at Gateway Lodge. Owners are very friendly and the Lodge is a great place to stay. Spotlessly clean, nice size rooms, nice quiet location. Would highly recommend. more

As we had an early flight we wanted somewhere close to the airport. Gateway Lodge fitted the bill. Reasonable £40 per night per room and £3 per night car parking.
