Although a little pricey which was due to Grand National weekend the hotel had everything you needed. The room in question was a single but had all the amenities you would expect. Breakfast was good although basic but plenty of tea & toast. Great transport links both into town and to Aintree.

Very good value. Room was clean and comfortable, although the decor perhaps a little dated. Situated in a lovely part of Liverpool just on the outskirts with good transport links into the center. Would certainly stay there again.

We stayed here Saturday 20th October as at a wedding locally. When we arrived we thought the hotel looked beautiful from the outside and the medival church opposite added to the ambience. The staff her are lovely, can't do enough for you and Manager Brian is very hefpful. Excellent service in restaurant and good proces. Room clean and comfortable but perhaps a little tired. You get what you pay for though and this is good value - so I've chosen to stay again next week on a business trip.
