We booked this hotel on the internet on the strength of great reviews! It was not as billed only a mile from the city attractions but it was on a bus route. well located and well served by public transport to and from the city centre but the main feature is the dedication and kindness of the staff (a family run establishment) to solve many problems and give helpful information if asked. Without forgetting the chance of having what is certainly one of the most thrieving pubs in Liverpool. more

The hotel is situated just ouside the centre of Liverpool, but it takes only 10 minutes to get by bus in the city centre. The location of this hotel was considerably far from "downtown" Liverpool, but the hotel is located across the street from a bus stop. The 3rd floor room (no lift/elevator....VERY STEEP stairs only) was minimally furnished but extremely clean/disinfected and had a public bathroom that was equally clean. We stayed two nights in the Pineapple over easter to watch football. This is a very good bed & breakfast for the price you pay. Helpfull staff that put an extra bed in on of the rooms to help us out.
