I stayed in a 10 bed dorm with my friends for 6 nights. Location is great, the tube is few minutes away, Sainsbury's and Tesco as well... Natural history, Science museum, Victoria and Albert museum are 10 minutes away. Rooms are clean, the staff is very helpful and friendly! Breakfast was great! There's fruit, cereals, toast, cheese, ham, nutella, tea,... More

My brother, his girlfriend and myself stayed in this hostel for 7 nights in August in a 6 bed dorm on the first floor. The place was a little older, but it was well kept, clean, the staff very friendly, the beds were decent, the living room area was cozy, as was the kitchen and free breakfast was good. The... More

I stayed in a six-bed dorm room in this hostel for about three night when I first arrived in London. I thought it was a nice place to stay and I'm not sure why the other reviews are so negative. It was in a very nice location, close to High Street Kensington, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Natural... More

The place offers rooms at a nice price and the staff is quite friendly. The rooms are nice and clean, so you can have a fair stay, except for some structure problems: the elevator was out of service during my whole stay, and carrying a bag for 3 floors might be a little uncomfortable... the showers and toilets also showed... As far as London hostels go, this place is not terribly bad for one or two nights stay. It's in a pretty decent location, not far at all from the tube and the staff were reasonbly helpful considering it's a hostel as from most experiences, hostel staff don't give two ****s about service. Breakfast was decent although a bif congested... More

As hostels go, this one is pretty basic. There was a slightly funky smell to the carpets and you had to hunt through the labyrinth to find a working shower, but I've definitely stayed in worse places. The location is super- close to tube stations and walking distance from Hyde park, but on the downside on a pretty busy road,... More

At first seemed like a pretty good place, the staff (especially the girls) were super friendly, and the location is really good. It was relatively clean, but the building needs to have some severe work done. Our room had about 8 leaks on the wall, which dripped down onto the electrical outlet. So that was mildly terrifying.

We went there with friends for 2 nights. Be careful they accept only people from 18 to 35. We spent the 1st night in a 6-bed room above the tube, so noisy but good bed and quite intimate. The 2nd night was in a 9-bed room, noisy near a washing machine working all the night. I had no problem with... More

My friend and I stayed at Astor Kensington only for one night, and given that it was my 3rd visit to London in recent years, I was aware that South Kensington was a fairly posh and safe locality. The check in was quick and normal, though I did find it annoying when they kept asking for 5 GBP as a... More

I stayed here with my girlfriend on a trip through Europe. We stayed in Hostels throughout the trip so we were used to them when we got to London. It was the worst experience in a trip that included having two flights cancelled due to volcanic ash and a nearly crippling sunburn. Suffice it to say we got out of... More
