These apartments are great on paper but a bit difficult in practice. The price is excellent (especially given its location in central London) and the flats themselves are clean and well-appointed. To be fair, when booking there was a warning about the trains passing by on their way to London Bridge station at all hours, however it has to be experienced to be believed: despite speed limits on the train tracks they are still extremely loud and often cause vibrations in the room! I suppose if you bring earplugs and are a sound sleeper anyway you might be alright. As a lone traveller I didn't like the fact that the door to my room opened with a conventional key (rather than key card), there was no peephole, and there was no security chain on the inside. more
