Stayed here as we were attending an event in Mayfair and needed a nearby hotel. It’s quite an impersonal hotel – very pleasant, but in a characterless sort of way. The room was perfectly pleasant, but nothing special for a 5 star hotel. Really disappointing to find captive shower gel, shampoo and soap in the bathroom – more like a... More

Quaint living rooms, very Dowton Abbey style, std British fare Nice 1 desk Concierge & OK lobby Unique upstairs area & elevator 2. Many celeb pics dot upstairs area Have home attached for guests Downstairs dining is unique, very 60s Mod feel, many mirrors & serve huge breakfasts alone.

Was taken there by my other half for a Theatre break (Joseph -Great Show), room nice staff very efficient, bar average but what was a major let down no pool or jacuzzi and on Sunday morning we came down for breakfast (traditional Full English a must), and was told they were busy and there was no room in the restaurant... Great guest relations, superb hospitality and very good ambiance. The rooms were adequate and spacious. I especially recall the services rendered by the guest relations manager, Ms Zeynep Ipek. Lovely service at the restuarant Quince too !!

Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Service is very good. A great location, in the center of Mayfair, very close to Picadilly circus, very close to New Bond, and close to Hyde Park. Lot's of restaurants and night life. Nobu is just next door. Excellent for Business or Family

An unmitigated disaster. Having stayed at dozens of hotels in most countries of the world over a period of more than 30 years we knew what made a 'good' hotel. However, nothing in our long experience prepared us for what was an absolutely disastrous stay at The Mayfair 'hotel'. From an exploding kettle in the bedroom quote 'it should not... More

Visited for an afternoon tea and were very disappointed - despite advertising that they catered for gluten free they put on a very poor selection. Requests for more tea were met with hot water, they made one tea bag last all afternoon for us. Poor quality, poor selection, sloppy service - I have written to complain twice and my letters/emails... More
