Excellent for the price, easy access to central London, short walk to under ground, lots of shops near by. Sink is in one wardrobe, toilet in the other (their cheapest room) so not suitable for anyone of big build or likes considerable privacy. But for us, it was just a girly weekend and out most of the time, so perfectly... More

I had to spend the week in Clapham for work and came across this B&B as it was near the office. I had room 5 which was perfect and for the price, amazing value. There were twin beds, and then tucked behind what looked like wardrobes, was a very clean toilet and sink. I did share the shower with one... More

We felt very lucky to have found the Lavender Guest House. It was welcoming, clean, comfortable, quiet and perfectly located. The breakfast was adequate. We needed a base from which to do some sight-seeing and for visiting friends, and this suited our purpose perfectly. Close to the rail station and with several bus routes within minutes we couldn't go wrong.... More

Very clean, rooms are well appointed even the shared bathrooms were extremely clean and modern. We can't say enough about how thoughtful Tony was during the course of our stay and even afterwards. He gave us good tips about the neighborhood, lent us an A to Z map book, worked on making the internet more accessible (it is available in the conservatory, but not in the bedrooms) and even sent back an earring I had... without doubt it is the best hotel in south london. Small en suites are easily forgotten whilst eating the magnificent cooked breakfast in true British style. The rooms are extremely clean and the staff are more helpful than anywhere else in London. It is also most convenient for access to just about anywhere in London. Need to book well in... More

Accommodation is basic but very clean and comfortable. Would recommend getting room with en-suite. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Ten minutes walk to Clapham junction station and 5 mins walk to lots of local ameneties. Good nightlife in the area but you wouldn't notice it from the quiet street it is on. Would use again! More

Summary: A very friendly, safe family run B&B. Has 8 rooms, some with only a tiny sink and toilet, a few with en-suites. There are also 2 very modern and bright shared full-bathrooms. Has a nice garden and conservatory secured by a high wall. Located on a quiet street, a few minutes walk to restaurants and shops and about a... More
