A very successful renovation, the hotel has real class, good service and, for London, is reasonably priced. The rooms are comfortable and spotless but can be a long walk from reception. The live music in the booking office bar on saturday evening was a nice touch.

The hotel is majestic, full of history! Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The convenience of being upstairs King's Cross station was unmatched. Rooms were kept very clean and were very comfortable and spacious. I had a double room. Overall a wonderful stay!

The building is stunning and we were pleased with our room on first glance. After an overnight stay and use of the facilities it appeared the room was a little tired - missing knob on the bath, crack in the wall in the bedroom. The spa area was nice, however the pool was much smaller than we were expecting, it... More

Good 5* London service in a beautiful building. Booking Hall Bar is excellent, the punches they serve in the afternoon from silver salvers are even better! An absolute must try - work your way along the bar! Snacks from the bar are filling and good quality - also worth a try and much cheaper than a full meal there Rooms... More

This is a stunning hotel set in the railway station which offers a truly 5 star service. The breakfast is buffet style and the ingredients are above the general hotel average in quality. A large group of us were catching the Eurostar to Paris and this seemed to overwhelm the porters, however, this was a small glitch. Our room was... More

The exterior of the hotel when you arrive gives you a hint of the amazing building you are about to enter. The extraordinary beauty continues throughout the interior in the bars, restaurants, Grand Staircase, Spa and hallways. Even the standard rooms are well equipped and large. The amenities are many and the service is above par. You will pay for... More

Unfortunately not a good experience - therapist who did massage was OK, but wore gloves throughout the massage, down to some problem she had with her hands. I was not told about this beforehand, and it's not a pleasant experience having a gloved massage!! Management should have informed me when I booked and were apologetic when I brought the above... Decided to stay at the hotel because I had an early train to catch the next morning. Most guests in the hotel seem to probably think the same as majority I saw were executives in business suits. The decor is stunning and lives up to my expectation of it being a historic landmark. Experience was so-so. Maybe a tad disappointed... More

Loved this hotel. The building was a renovation of an old high end hotel and now it is a new high end hotel. The lobby is an open area that serves afternoon tea. Cordial atmosphere, with a punch of elegance. Rooms ranged from typical Marriott to museum quality rooms. We were in one of the new rooms, very comfortable; we... More

We were here for a wedding and decided to stay at the hotel. The location is excellent - literally right on top of the station - so ideal if you are traveling on the Eurostar. The hotel also has a very historic and modern feel to it. We were impressed by the way they managed to synthesize the two. It... More
