Lovely hotel. Almost perfect! Shower screen on the bath was long so could not set to run bath or shower without getting in the bath and soaked with cold water as my arms aren’t long enough and why no toilet brush in either the rooms or toilets in the reception area?

Hotel's Favourite
Prior to our stay communication was good with the hotel, on arrival was greeted by friendly welcoming staff at reception. We had booked two rooms, one for myself and my husband and one for my daughter and niece. The lady who checked us in gave us all a drinks voucher and gave our room details. The rooms were close, which was ideal, there was a lovely card and chocolates in our room (i’m told they were lovely, my daughter ate them before I got a look in). Rooms were spacious and clean, with almost everything needed, in a great central location. We parked in the Convent Garden Apocoa car park which was a short 5 minute walk away. We went to the theatre and then on return to the hotel decided to go to the bar and have a couple of drinks, unfortunately on arrival at the bar we were told it was last orders and they were closing. We did get one drink and the staff were great but the bar was full so would have been good if it had stayed open until maybe 12. We returned to our room and the mini bar was also empty. Will be mindful of this next time but would and will definitely return but for at least 2 nights next time.

Dear Wookie Monster It is indeed heartening to read about your recent stay at our hotel. Your detailed account paints a vivid picture of the many aspects of your visit that you enjoyed. Your kind words on our hotel staff's welcoming nature and efficient communication skills are truly appreciated. It is part of our ethos to ensure our guests feel valued and attended to right from their arrival. We're delighted to hear that the proximity of the rooms, the surprise of a card and chocolates, and the cleanliness and spaciousness of our rooms added to the comfort of your stay. Moreover, it's great to know that our location served you well. As you mentioned, our hotel is nestled in Bloomsbury, a charming spot known for its rich literary history and academic institutions. It also affords easy access to some of London's most iconic attractions, including the British Museum, Covent Garden, Soho, and Fitzrovia, all within a few minutes' walk. It's unfortunate that you didn't have the opportunity to fully enjoy our bar facilities. We can understand how extending the hours might have added to your experience, and we appreciate your feedback in this regard. We also note your comment about the mini-bar, and appreciate your understanding. Your intention to revisit us and stay for a longer duration is the greatest compliment we could receive. We look forward to welcoming you back, and providing an even more memorable experience. Best Regards, Daniel M Front of House Manager

Nicely located near Tottenham Court Rd . Not cheap (but London isn’t…) Good amenities but let down in room by some older decor and maintenance items (e.g., blocked drain in shower). I experienced very good service and attention to detail by housekeeping staff

Dear Dirk It is heartening to hear about your positive experience with our housekeeping staff, who continuously strive to provide excellent service and attention to detail. Your comfort is our top priority, and knowing you found your stay comfortable is indeed gratifying. Your note about our location near Tottenham Court Road resonates with us. Our hotel is indeed situated in this charming part of central London, celebrated for its rich literary history and academic institutions. Our close proximity to attractions such as the British Museum in Bloomsbury, Covent Garden, Soho, and Fitzrovia, makes it an ideal location for guests who wish to explore these vibrant areas. However, we regret to learn about the maintenance issues you encountered during your stay, such as the older decor and blocked shower drain. We believe in providing a seamless experience for our guests, and it is disheartening to hear that we fell short in this aspect. We do acknowledge that our pricing reflects the location and the amenities we provide, and we are in line with the costs associated with staying in central London. We strive to offer the best possible value to our guests, given the high standards of service and facilities we maintain. Once again, thank you for your valuable feedback. We hope to welcome you back in the future, and we'll strive to ensure your next stay is even more enjoyable and comfortable. Warm regards, Daniel M Front of House Manager

Great location close to rube and walking distance from British Museum, Oxford street etc…. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we could check in early as our room was ready. Stayed in twin room which was small but adequate for our needs, clean and tidy with coffee machine etc. only negative was the full length mirror was in an odd place. Would stay again

Well confusion on checking in with Ravi firstly we had booked for bed & breakfast . This was not on system , but on my confirmation . Ravi gave us a room 3028 on entering this room wax set up for someone else. Welcome card / truffles for another person . Back down to reception and was given a king room 1008 . This morning checked in at breakfast and was told breakfast would be charged . I said that we had confirmation breakfast was included . We sat down and ordered coffee and lady who had checked us in for breakfast came over in front of a packed restaurant and guests. She had checked with reception we do not have breakfast . Embarrassed I had to leave my breakfast go to room and get confirmation to take to reception . On showing all was ok and apology was given. 10 minutes later I resumed my breakfast upset and somewhat disappointed that a hotel could act like this . I finished breakfast which was excellent and good service from Anton and his team. Customers were coming up to me to ask if I was ok after shocking service and knowing I was upset ! Couldn’t wait to leave hotel and experience was appalling !!!

Dear Ash I am truly sorry to read about your recent experience at our hotel, particularly the inconvenience and embarrassment you encountered during your check-in and breakfast. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any distress this may have caused you. It is most unfortunate to hear about the mix-up with your room assignment and the confusion surrounding the breakfast inclusion in your booking. The situation you described is not reflective of our typical standard of service. Our utmost priority is to ensure that every guest feels welcomed, comfortable, and well taken care of, and we regret that we fell short in your case. I am glad to hear, however, that you found our breakfast to be excellent. We take pride in offering a wide selection of breakfast options, from fresh fruits, granola, and yogurt to hearty cooked options and delicious pastries. We believe that a good day starts with a good meal, and we strive to deliver that. Anton and his team will surely be pleased to know that their service was appreciated. Our team is committed to providing the best possible experiences for our guests. We take your feedback seriously, and we will certainly use it to improve our service delivery. Should you give us another opportunity to serve you, we assure you that we will do our utmost to provide a smoother, more enjoyable experience. Best Regards, Daniel M Front of House Manager

What a lovely hotel and lovely staff. We had a very warm welcome which included a glass of fizz. We were upgraded to a king room and had a mini box of truffles waiting for us . The room was huge and the bed was so comfortable. You really can’t beat the Radisson Blu hotels. The staff were so polite and helpful.

Had a plesant stay at this hotel while visiting our son doing a semester at FSU London right down the road. Great hotel for FSU London parents and would highly recommend it. Clean hotel and nice staff. Stayed at the Radisson Kenilworth across the street for three days, went to Paris for another four days, and then stayed at this hotel for another three days. The Kenilworth was a very nice hotel as well. Just one warning . . . while staying at the Kenilworth for a few nights, we sometimes saw more than we wanted to at night in the rooms across the street at the Bloomsbury. The windows in the Bloomsbury bathrooms give the appearance that there is privacy and that it is hard to see in, but the truth is that anyone can see in while the shades are up. So please remember to keep your shades down while using the bathroom (unless you want other people seeing your business!). Other than this quirky issue, this was a great hotel. Between the Bloomsbury and the Kenilworth, it is really hard to say which one is better. Both are really good.
