I was attracted to One Aldwych by its website which makes a big deal of being child- friendly. It certainly lived up to that promise. My children, ages 7 and 9, had a wonderful time. We booked two connecting rooms, one twin and one double. On arrival, the children found an age-appropriate book on each bed, with a welcome card,... more

Ok, you will see that I stayed here in January, but am only now writing the review. This is because I have just returned from a trip to Bath, where I supposedly stayed at a top class hotel. Rubish. Comapred to the One Aldwych, there is no such thing. I am very afraid that after staying here, no other hotel... more

Wonderful hotel, fantastic staff, so kind and thoughtful, going above and beyond to make our wedding night more special than either of us could have imagined. There aren't many hotels in london that would bother to leave you a hand written note frmo the hotel manager wishing you congratulations. Our room was upgraded to a fabulous suite with a private... more

The One Aldwych is ideally located within walking distance to theatres, restaurants, St. Paul, Westminster , Tate Modern, London Eye, and Covent Garden. The hotel and rooms are very quiet and relaxing. The fitness center and pool are unusual amenities in Central London. The staff was very friendly and helpful with tourist information, reservations, and service in general. I had... more

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights during March. We had booked an executive room and were gobsmacked when we first saw the room. Having stayed at many hotels around the world, often times at much more expensive rooms I could not believe what we saw. The rooms are beautifully finished to the highest degree, with a wonderful... more

Without doubt the best hotel in London and conveniently placed for all the attractions, nightlife and eateries of London. A short walk over the bridge from Waterloo station or get a bus almost direct to the door from London Euston. You can also meander through Covent Garden from the tube and be there in 10 mins. I have stayed at... more

We stayed in an upper floor room one level up from their standard room in this hotel located near the theater district. Keep in mind that most hotel rooms are small in London when compared to other cities. Our room had a curved exterior facing wall with views of the rooftops and skyline of the neighborhood, a comfortable king bed,... more

Spent 3 weeks at the Aldwych for two separate business trips and it felt like home. It's absolutely luxurious and they provide the best round-the-clock service, whether you need help with wireless internet, need to order snacks in the middle of the night that aren't even on the room service menu, or need to have a forgotten item delivered from... more
