We stayed here for convenience and budget reasons. This hotel ticked both those boxes and we knew about the reviews so bit the bullet and booked it. On arrival we parked in the large car park which many London hotels do not have. There are steep steps that go up to the main reception area so those with buggies etc...... More

Some of the reviews horrified us, especially as we needed to stay in the area for two consecutive weekends, but for the cost involved we thought that it was worth a try. We parked in the last available space in the front car park, between 3 foreign coaches and some white vans, which was perhaps not a good sign, especially... More

I booked a room for a friend and was shocked. Past the reception, the hotel inside is a labyrinth, smelly, old. The room was a disaster. One wiindow could not be shut, half of the carpet was missing, the toilet had partioned walls with no plaster or wall paper on it. Just board! THe staff was mostly unhelpful and was... More

Staff were very friendly, room was clean, bed was comfy with nice clean sheets, 4 towels, clean bathroom and toilet...we stayed in twin room and have no complaints. The room was £35 for the one night. Breakfast was cereals, orange/apple juice, plenty of tea or coffee, plus as much toast as you wanted. A full english was just £5 (looked... More

Friendly staff, clean sheets, 4 towels for 2 people, a large enough bed (I am 6'1"), running hot water and a pleasant night's sleep all for £19.50 per head, I couldn't have asked for more really! Maybe this hotel is really making an effort to improve it's image, it is certainly doing the right things. C'mon does a broken towel... More

I wouldnt go back to this hotel if you paid me. After arriving on a very early flight from Vancouver, we were made to wait 8 hours for a room. When we eventually got our room, we believed they had cleared out a storage cupboard and put us in there. The floor wasnt flat and tilted downwards. There was holes... More

Just spent 3 nights at this hotel whilst visiting friends in London, having read the reviews I was terrified........... what we actually received wasn't enough to make us check out straight away. The room was average, the sink plug wasn't there and the hairdryer didn't work but the room was clean not invested with any creatures but maybe a slight... More

We stayed at this hotel as their seems to be a shortage of hotel / guest house space in the Crystal Palace area. We stayed here with our young children. in short, our room was old an dilapidated, with dodgy wiring on show. Sink plug was not working to have a wash, but this was semi-fixed by the staff when... My wife and I stayed here for one night before we embarked on our trip to Paris on the following day. The room that we got was on the 2nd floor, but due to the nature of the building, our room was not accessible by the lifts. We had to get there via a narrow flight of stairs, with an... More
