I stopped in the hotel the first weekend of February with 4 friends it was great as we were all I one big room! Clean, tidy and spacious for a room with 3 singles and 1 double. The reception staff were really helpful when the radiator switched off late at night whilst it snowed outside they brought us extra blankets... More

This hotel is lovely inside. The room was big and the bathroom was modern. It is just the surrounding area that is not so nice. If you can see past this then this is great value for money and very central (10 mins walk) to the bank of England. Worth a try if you are on a budget. More

Please don't take notice of the previous two reviews they seem to have some gripe which is nothing to do with the hotel. We stayed over the weekend and OK the area is not great but the hotel is just round the corner from the tube and is fantastic value, very clean, pleasant staff and a great breakfast. Only comment... View was horrible... overlooking an ugly private courtyard with what seemed drug abusers inside it!!... at one point I even saw someone burning tyres! (no exaggeration!!) Felt unsafe to walk around the area.. especially when it turned dark! In addition the staff in the Hotel never seem to give you the time of day! In fact I would say that... More

We were staying there for 3 nights and it was comfortable. We planed to stay more, but the hotel was fully booked so we needed to move to another hotel. Walking distance to tube, the room was clean, big enough for 3 people with affordable price. Receptionist has service minded. Appreciated it More

Paid £49 for a single ensuite, when I arrived staff were incredibly friendly and check-in was simple. Room was GINORMOUS and actually a double, not a single, simple but well-furnished - big fridge, kettle, dressing table and TV with all Freeview channels (have stayed in a lot of hotels where all you get is the News channels!) Also lovely bathroom... More

Personel is kind and serviable. Rooms are spacious enough for me to open two pieces of luggage in the same time which is luxury for London. The food is good and at a reasonable price and the area is interesting to visit in the evening. More
