Disgusting rooms, filthy corridors with stained carpets & even the lift is dirty more

Stayed at the Waverley House from 10/28/2009 to 11/1/2009. This hotel is pretty poor. It's dank, dingy, dirty, noisy and the lights in my room didn't all work. The breakfast was surprisingly good, and the staff were friendly, but that interior of the rooms, the elevator and the corridors was embarrasing. more

We stayed here for our anniversary. We wanted to be close to Covent Garden. Capital city centre hotels can be poor, dirty and expensive. This hotel is more than adequate for a stay of a few days. The breakfast was excellent - help-yourself with a wide choice and no restiction on the quantity. They used back bacon and the jam and marmalade was Tiptree, none of these are the cheapest.
