Dolphin Hotel seems to be like the others I have seen in Paddington – multi-storey, with small rooms that can barely contain a single bed, and a tiny ensuite. My room was cozy enough. They even managed to squeeze in a small desk. It seemed like my room was the result of a renovation, as the shower and wash basin...

It's the worst hotel that I saw in my life. Carpet in room was compromised because of the smell which could not sleep. you can get sick in this hotel.

The bed was really uncomfortable, old bed.
The bathroom had mushrooms in the roof and smell like pee.
The reception staff was nice, but the kitchen stuff (breakfast) was really terrible. We cleaned our own table, and wait 15mins to get the brekfast, Nobody come to us to ask what we wanted, so we asked the girls about the breakfast,...

Oringinally booked Dolphin but on arrival was told we were to occupy the Shakespeare (right next door; same owners) that was fine. Nice big room for the four of us. Own small shower/toilet room adequate. Pleasant staff. Great choice of breakfast. Considering prices I've paid for hotels around the world for the price paid here for a family of 4...

It gives our team immense joy to hear you had a great time. We aim to satisfy, and when we do - it is the best feeling. We provide the same high quality service in both Shakespeare and Dolphin hotels. It provides a wider choice for our guests, and even when the rare unexpected problem occurs with a room, it...

we had wet towels that had been just picked up off the floor and folded back up.
one night we got into bed and the sheet was wet in one spot
the bathroom was as big as a dog kennel you could hardly move and the shower was leaking and the toilet seat was broken
the staff were not helpful...

I am regretful to hear about the discomfort you experienced with us. We take any critique seriously and will be looking further into the matter. Our housekeepers regularly check the rooms after the cleaners have finished with them, to keep our cleaning standards in check. Our receptionists always try to help as best as they can and in most cases...

We quite liked this hotel compared to other budget hotels we've stayed in in London. There was enough floor space that you didn't have to either have your suitcase open on the bed or be in the bed yourself. The shower was broken and old but it worked. Unfortunately the underground trains vibrated the room slightly but we slept well....

I am glad you liked our hotel. We always try to stay competitive in prices and standard we provide. Please accept my apology for the shower. Our qualified maintenance staff works every day and does their best to fix anything that is broken as soon as possible. The underground is a bit of a nuisance but only affects the lower...

Just a few minutes walk from Padington main line and underground stations, with plenty of bus routes in the area as well - location is excellent. Check in handled speedily and efficiently: on advising that I had to leave early in the morning there were apologies given for the fact that it would be before the continental breakfast was available....

We are delighted to hear you have enjoyed your visit. I hope we can accommodate you on your next trip to London as well. Also, thank you for all your photos. Let me just add, the few old television sets that we still have left, will be shortly replaced by new flat screen TVs.

We chose this hotel because it is close to the Subway and bus route plus we were able to park our rental car. We chose this hotel because it has a swimming pool for my boys plus it has a small kitchen, The dining room is great for evening meals.

Thank you so much for the review. However, I must warn you and any of the guests reading this, we do not have a pool inside our hotel (although there are a few public ones in the area), nor do we have kitchens in our rooms. It is possible your review was directed at the "Dolphin House", which is also...

I stayed in this uninspiring abode for two nights, and discovered that things exist on the small side at the Dolphin Hotel on Norfolk Square. Upon checking in, I was greeted with a thin smile and little else. My single room was adequate but compact - the wall insulation is definitely miniscule - it felt like I'd actually annexed the...

Thank you for all your comments regarding our hotel. I am sorry to hear that you have not have the best time with us. We are always systematically renovating our rooms one by one to provide the best standard possible. We have also recently introduced special feedback cards, that cleaners leave after cleaning the room, so our guests can let...
