We stayed here for 4 days and hardly slept a wink thanks to a combination of excessive heating and Rock hard mattress. We finally found the instructions for the controls to the air conditioner/heating but despite changing the temperature the room remained too hot. Opening the window didn't cool the room much but the noise from the trains passing didn't... More

It was my 5th time in London and it was one of the best hotels I have there. Close to the tube station, some restaurants & pubs, Nature & Science Museum (5-7 minutes walk). Bad Italian restaurant in from of the hotel, I can't advice it as a good place. But Grafunkel's is good near the tube station. Hotel: nice... More

This hotel is about 5 min walk from Gloucester tube station which is on the picadilly line- this means rather than paying for the Heathrow express, you can catch a standard train that goes to Heathrow ( stopping most stations) for about 2.80 pounds. It is 5 min walk from large supermarket (Sainsburys) or 2 min walk from smaller supermarket... More

I stayed here for 1 night using BA points. The room was clean with high end toiletries, and I loved the amenities (a glass of champagne in the evening and loads of free newspapers). The location can't be beat as it's a few minutes from the Gloucester Road tube, grocery and drug stores, and Hyde Park. More

My husband and I were very comfortable at the Ashburn during a nine day visit to London. Our room, though small, was very comfortable and always very clean. As we faced a busy street, we appreciated the double window which filtered out traffic noise. Service at the hotel was efficient and friendly; staff were always helpful when we had questions.... It's a great hotel, the rooms are perfect with very good decoration and clean! The breakfast was very good and very organized. Near the Science and Natural HIstory museums and the gardens! The price is a little bit high .. but for one night, it was great! More
