I have stayed at this hotel before - its cheap and cheerful and local to where I was working. Lat time, no problems. This time we got to the room and there wasn't the usual sofa to sit on. All there was was a desk chair and the bed. I enquired at reception, and was told that if you book... More

Well this place has double the amount of terrible reviews than it does have excellent ones so I rest my case. I can understand why as stayed here on Saturday 11th Feb and had a shocker of a room. It was firstly freezing cold (which we thought would improve and not much you can do about it at 2am when... More

We read some concerning reviews prior to going on our trip to London, but on arriving at the hotel was pleasantly surprised. Our room was room 603 in the Drury Lane part of the hotel, it was warm, clean, tidy and comfortable, we had a nice time and the breakfast was quite good too. Hotel could do with a few... More

A one night stop as part of a weekend theatre visit. This hotel has friendly staff and is clean and comfortable. The rooms are basic, but all that is needed for a short stay; the hotel is very well placed for the centre of London and its attractions. Drinks from the bar were a reasonable price and breakfast was good... More

I read through loads of the reviews on here for this hotel but as I was able to get a room for 2 for only 19.50 in the centre of London I felt it was worth a punt. That said I had my credit card ready to bail and find somwhere else if it was dirty! I am pleased to... More

I stayed at the Drury Lane end of the travelodge this weekend and was very dissapointed. The room was tiny and very basic. There is a very thin duvet and we only had one tiny pillow on the bed. There was a chair and a vanity area with no mirror. Plugs for hairdryers etc are no where near any of... More

Just a few minutes walk to all the theatre's.We saw Lion King so just 5 min walk. The hotel has 2 buildings. The room was old and well worn, the windows had gaps so let in constant noise from taxi's.It was below zero outside so draughts were a pain. The heater on full warmed up room but we dont like it hot.We slept through... You won't beat this hotel for cost and location, but until (the much needed) refurb is over you will run the risk of an under par 'Travelodge' room. No one expects 5* but third visit here in the last few months and on two occasions, had problems with heating and hot water. Unlike other reports on here though, rooms have... More

We stayed in Fr=ebruary and got a room in the sale for £20. So was very cheap. The hotel was split in 2 one side was refurbished the other our side looked like it had not been refurbished since 1980. Although it was clean the mold round the bath and the cracked tiles and mismatching tiles (where some had been... More
