Bailey's is an excellent hotel, with authentic English atmosphere and charm, and a great location just across the street from the Underground. I gave it four stars, but it's really four stars minus. Time and again that little extra touch is missing: one more receptionist to make lines shorter, one more maid so the room cleaning would be more thorough... more

Just returned from a 7 day stay at the Bailey. First of all, as they all say, the location is great! It was wonderful to walk out of the underground and have the hotel directly across the street. Could not have been any easier to get from and back to Heathrow. We splurged with a Deluxe Room (L119) which included... more

I have stayed in this hotel rather often over the past 3 years, perhaps over 100 nights, so have stayed in every category of room from single to their two suites on the top floor. There is no denying that the location opposite the Gloucester Road Tube Station is superb, making most of London easily accessible. Standards, however, have slipped... more

We fancied a bit of luxury for our trip to London, so booked in at the Bailey's after reading reviews on here. We were not disappointed, very friendly and helpful staff were able to accommodate us even though we arrived a good few hours prior to check-in time. We stayed for one night in a deluxe room (room 407). The... more

Dear BenGreg, Thank-you for your fantastic review of our hotel. We all work very hard to reach a high level of service and our main aim is to provide the perfect stay for our customers. As you mentioned our Deluxe rooms are really large and could be compared as Junior suite in London. We are looking forward to welcome you...

I've now stayed at this hotel twice. Both times the experience has been pleasant. The rooms are spacious, the staff is friendly and helpful. On one occasion my door lock broke, and I was promptly relocated within 30 minutes and got a free drink while waiting. I have not sampled the breakfast or restaurant. For breakfast there's a decent (but... more

We stayed at Bailey's from 11 to 13 October 2009. This was our second time at Bailey's and it was every bit as good as the first time! We booked with the hotel's website and got a good rate (about $160) which was what we paid last time in 2004. I was worried we wouldn't be able to afford to... more

We stayed for 4 nights in early October. The tube station and a small mall with a grocery store is right across the street. The V and A and Science Museum is within easy walking distance. There were several places to have breakfast within a block. We had dinner in a nice Italian Restaurant and an Indian restaurant within a... more

In London to visit daughter studying abroad. Got the best price on the hotel's own website, and took the mid-level priced room. Our room was spacious (for a European hotel), quiet and clean with a huge bathroom. Midway through our stay there was a big ceiling leak in the bathroom (from a flood in the bathroom directly upstairs). Hotel personnel... more

Relaxing hotel, ideal location across the road from Gloucester Rd tube. Had small but very comfortable room, excellent presentation. Only one slight complaint in that price of 14.50 for continental breakfast was quite steep. Nearby cafes were much less in price. Would stay there again. more

My daughter and I just spent 6 days at the Bailey's and we were absolutely charmed by this hotel. It is well located, our room was just great, large bathroom, very clean, a great deal for the money. And to top it off, it is easy access from Heathrow airport via the London tube system. Also close to many pubs,... more

Dear SeaSunSand07, Thank-you very much for your lovely comments on Tripadvisor.com. I am glad that you and your daughter enjoyed your stay with us. As you mentioned our hotel is very well located when arriving via Heathrow. Because of the Piccadilly line, you only need to jump on the underground and after 40 minutes you are at the hotel ready...
