Best feature for this hotel would be its distance from the Earl's Court tube station, just about 2 minutes' walk literally. Earl's Court is in the District Line, which is linked to all major parts of London, and a direct route to Heathrow Airport too. We found that majorly convenient. The hotel room is a tad small, but not as... more

Getting to our room was a major expedition, through a rather confusing combination of stairways and corridors. But the room itself was spacious and comfortable. The staff usually were not native English speakers, so at times communication could be a little challenging. But they were most accommodating and eager to please. more

Myself and my boyfriend were going to London for a city break, and found this hotel on the Londonnights website. The price seemed too good to be true for a 4 star hotel, so we booked it straight away. When we arrived, we couldn't actually find the hotel due to construcation works that were going on on the outside of... more

I stayed in a club room at this hotel on an amazing last minute deal. Room was very clean, spacious, huge plasma TV. FREE Wine, chocs, water, soft drinks fruit and roses in the room! Decent toiletries, bath and shower! Wonderful bed and plenty decent pillows. Breakfast plentiful. Air con wouldn't go lower than 18 degrees which was a bit... more

I just returned from a 7 night stay at the BW Premier Shaftesbury London Kensington. After spending some serious time researching hotels in my price range ($170 a night excluding tax) I took a leap of faith and booked a double executive room for my wife and I. I was attracted to this hotel by its location to the tube... more

Had a great deal - paid £59.00 for myself to stay the one night. Easy to access from Earls Court underground station and was upgraded to a double room on arrival. Rooms not overly large but more than adequate for myself. Large wall mounted lcd television, microwave, fridge and fruit in the room. Breakfast was plentiful, bedrooms and main areas... more

Just returned after long weekend, 3 nights in total. Excellent value for money for London. Staff helpful, although english not too hot!!! Would recommend staying on lower floors, as first room on 5th has very bad water pressure. We moved, and no problem. Just be aware wooden corners end of bed, left with some bruises!!!!! more

Stayed at the Shaftesbury for two nights last week. It's in a good location, just a couple of minutes walk from Earls Court station. Reserved an 'executive single' online with ActiveHotels.com, Cost:£158.00 and had no problem checking in at 1.30pm. I was asked to pay the full amount straight away, and an imprint of my card was taken in case... more

Have just returned from weekend break to celebrate my daughters 21st . Booked through London Premier Hotels website. Cannot find fault with hotel. Room was large, very clean and all staff were helpful. Good variety for breakfast (english or continental). Great location - 2min walk from tube. Would definitely stay here again! more

Thought this was fine. Close to tube, rooms clean and smart. No problems at all. Anyone who complains about the room sizes etc is far too fussy in my opinion. :) I had no complaints whatsoever. more
