My boyfriend and I stayed at the Amber Hotel for ten days in December, 2003. Originally, we had a twin room (two beds), which was quite spacious. We then moved to a double room, which was much smaller. Each room had its own bathroom and TV. Also, the rooms were clean.

Breakfast is included in the morning (tea, coffee, toast, cereal), and was good.

The location is FANTASTIC. You can walk to Kensington High Street, and Earls Court tube station is situated within a five minute walk. Also, the price is very reasonable.

I only have two small complaints. The walls are very thin - if you don't want noise, this probably isn't the hotel for you. Also, the phones in the room did not work.

Overall, a good hotel at a great price! more
